9ème Journée des Lacs Alpins de Cosmologie (JLAC9)

LAPTH Annecy, Wednesday 15.06.2005

Location and Transport

The meeting takes place at LAPTH in Annecy-Le-Vieux. We meet at 1pm for lunch, and will eventually move to the Petit Amphi for the talks.

It is very difficult to reach LAPTH by public transport. We recommend to come by car, following these instructions. Better print them out. If you follow the instructions carefully then it should be easy to find LAPTH. Otherwise it can be extremely tricky and people regularly get lost. Don't worry, we usually find them again...

Format

Speakers should avoid technical details as much as possible, the level should be adequate for non-experts. We expect that speakers will be using the blackboard. If you need a slide projector or beamer (e.g. for simulations or pictures) it can be arranged, but you must contact the organisers. Remember that the workshop is intended to foster interactions with the audience, experience has shown that this is best achieved when you use the blackboard. Please aim for a short talk, about 10 to 15 minutes, to leave room for questions and discussions. We would also like to encourage especially contributions from Ph.D. students.

If you wish to attend the meeting without giving a talk, please register with the organisers anyway -- we need an estimate of the total number of participants for planning the lunch. There is no registration fee.

Evening Program

In the evening, we propose to go for a drink and then to a restaurant in the old downtown of Annecy. However, we will organise this spontaneously at the end of workshop.

Scientific Program

Please contact the organisers if you would like to give a talk or for any other enquiries:

Julien Lesgourgues   Martin Kunz

The program will be composed spontaneously.
