Les Journées des Lacs Alpins de Cosmologie

Purpose of the meetings
The closeness of CERN, LAPTH Annecy (the group of P. Salati), Geneva University (the group of R. Durrer), EPFL (the group of M. Shaposhnikov), Geneva Observatory, etc..., potentially provides a stimulating environment for discussions. We would like to initiate and/or strengthen contacts between people working in cosmology, astrophysics and the interface between high energy physics and cosmology. In order to do so we propose a one day meeting, roughly every 3 to 4 months at one of the participating institutes. These meetings are on a very informal basis. They should not yet be another standard meeting but should provide the opportunity to DISCUSS and EXCHANGE ideas. Everybody has the opportunity to present some of his/her research (finished or unfinished projects) within say 10-20 minutes. In order to stimulate discussion we encourage to use the black board.
